I didn't design this necklace, it just happened.
When I first started making jewelry, I used a tray that let me hold beads and arrange them before I strung them together. It's meticulous and time-consuming, and total meditation for me. One day, I looked at the bottom of my tray and saw all of these rubies, emeralds, pearls, gold beads and so much more floating around - little sparkling gems that didn't make it into a carefully designed necklace. I started gathering up the beads after every project into one bin in the tray. And the bin started filling up. And it started to look like an old-timey treasure chest from a classic pirate movie. It was so pretty! I wanted to capture that feeling of accidental, random, sumptuousness - so I spilled them out into a canal in the tray and let them fall where they may. I strung them together and now BOOTY (a play on pirate treasure obvs) was born. And it was beautiful! It was instantly my favorite.
JEWELS: 14K gold, emeralds, sappires, rubies, pearls, amethyst, citrine, peridot, rose quartz and pink opal.
VIBES: Delicate Booty is a treasure trove of beauty that came together on its own terms. Made with pearls, emeralds, sapphires, rubies, citrine, amethyst, tourmaline, peridot, and 14K gold, Booty is a testament to the joy of random and unexpected beauty. It's a celebration of imperfection, intuition, and letting things become what they’re meant to be.
By the way, Delicate Booty looks good with everything. As does Big Booty...which is coming soon...
Delicate Booty
Please Be Advised: Every gemstone and base metal piece is handmade with careful attention to every detail, from using high quality materials whether they're solid 14K or 18K gold, 14k or 18K gold-filled, gold plated/vermeil, or brass, to the thoughtful choice of closures, clasps and enhancements. In the process of sourcing from carefully chosen manufactures and artisans materials aren't always super matchy-matchy. My pieces are not meant to look manufactured and "perfect." They are meant to exhibit soul, and "proof of life" in each piece.
Please allow for the tiny variations and subtle flaws that come with the hand-making process - these don’t affect the quality, they are simply reminders of the thoughtful intention that went into every facet of making your unique, one-of-a-kind piece, just for you.
CARE: To keep your piece glowing, avoid water, lotions, and harsh chemicals. A soft cloth is all you need for the occasional polish.
